Jack Shepard		Jack is a surgeon and because of this most people on the island know him as "Doctor". He wastes no time getting people the help they need and you can tell his morals are heavily influenced by his work. He contrasts Locke as far as beliefs and views especially on problems encountered on the island.	Yes
Kate Austen		Kate is quite the mysterious character. The more you begin to learn about her, the more questions you have. She tends to take a leadership role because of her authoritarian personality. Generally, we have a negative view of Kate. She is deceptive and takes advantage of people.	Yes
Hugo (Hurley) Reyes		Hurley is the most light-hearted on the island. He is probably also the most caring. He tries to cheer everyone up, even if it is only a little. He generally avoids conflict. He does have a bit of an issue with the re-occurring numbers though.	Yes
James (Sawyer) Ford		Sawyer is the stereotypical bad boy. He is constantly trying to keep up the image of being “bad” but really he has a big heart. He still has issues accepting who he has become because of his past and you can tell he tries to change for the better sometimes.	Yes
John Locke		John Locke is the type of person to believe in fate and destiny -- basically Jack’s opposite. He does things because of gut feelings and often acts without apparent reasoning. Despite this, he is still pretty well liked on the island.	Yes
Sayid Jarrah		Sayid has a dark past. Because of his experiences in the military, he often has trouble with accepting what his morals are. However this does not stop him from being one of the most considerate people on the island. He has a huge heart and looks out for the greater good.	Yes
Jin-Soo Quan		Although it is sometimes hard to tell, Jin loves his wife, Sun, unconditionally. Because of the language barrier he is not able to develop close relationships with others on the island, but he still remains friendly... Most of the time.	Yes
Sun-Hwa Quan		Sun seems to be one who adapts well. She always lends a helping hand when it is needed and she always has some kind of trick up her sleeve. (Like knowing English!) She loves his husband, Jin, dearly and would do anything for him.
Claire Littleton		Claire is a new mother who will do whatever she can to do what she thinks is right for her baby, Aaron. She doesn’t go out of her way to make friends on the island, but she isn’t unfriendly either. She used to be close with Charlie until he lied to her about having drugs.	Yes
Charlie Pace		Charlie is a character who is fighting a drug addiction. He has a great sense of humor and tries his best to please people. He does slip up a bit, but in his heart he only tries to do the right thing. He feels he has to protect Claire’s baby, Aaron, probably because he feels he is in a sort of fatherly position.	Yes
Michael Dawson		Michael is completely devoted to protecting his son, Walt. He does whatever he can to rescue Walt from danger and often blames himself if anything is to go wrong. He gets very defensive of Walt and this has led to a few conflicts with other people on the island.	Yes
Walt Llyod		Walt is an interesting character. There are a few hints that he possess special powers, possibly related to animals. He is a sweetheart even though he can still be naive at times.	Yes(?)
Shannon Rutherford		We didn’t like Shannon very much. She started to develop a bit more of a likable personality towards the end, but then she was shot. She came off as quite the stuck up valley girl and as soon as she was growing out of that phase because the crash forced her to, her life was cut short.	No - She was shot by Ana Lucia.
Boone Carlyle		Boone was a curious character, but in a forceful way. He demanded to go along with Locke into the forest and didn’t want to keep the hatch a secret. He was in love with Shannon and would do anything to protect her, even though their relationship was rocky, especially towards the beginning.	No - He was crushed by the drug plane.
